Experience skiing at the Auli slopes with its panoramic views of the high Himalayan mountains including Nanda Devi, Mana and Kamet. Savor the healthy way of living by visiting yoga centers and also go for holy dip in River Ganga.
Day 1: Arrive Delhi
Arrive Delhi. Transfer to the hotel. Sightseeing trip of Delhi visiting Humayun’s Tomb, the Qutub Minar, the Red Fort and the great Jama Masjid – the biggest mosque in India. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 2: Leopard Beach Tented Camp
Leave Delhi for Leopard Beach Tented Camp. Lunch on arrival. Camp orientation talk and briefing of the day’s plan. Post lunch at leisure/ kayaking around camp/ beach activities/ rafting session. O/N in camp.
Day 3: Drive to Joshimath
After an early breakfast, drive to Joshimath on a mountainous road along the Ganga river and later by the Alaknanda. Take the 3.9 kms cable car (the longest in Asia) to the scenic and picturesque Auli Ski resort. O/N at Auli Tourist Bungalow.
Day 4/5/6: Auli
Skiing at Auli on a full board basis. All skiing equipment will be provided. There is one poma lift and one chair car at the Auli ski resort. Instruction is provided by qualified instructors. The ski slopes command a panoramic view of high Himalayan peaks including Nanda Devi.
Day 7: Drive to Rishikesh
Drive back to Rishikesh. Evening sightseeing trip of the many temples, ashrams and yoga centers in Rishikesh. O/N in Rishikesh.
Day 8: Drive to Delhi
Drive back to Delhi arriving by lunch time. Evening depart for onward destination.
